CPT coding/documentation and changes in E/M codes for 2021

The OPPA will be offering four separate webinars during the month of Dec. (possibly earlier if they are available) to educate/update psychiatrists and their office/billing personnel on changes to the Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding in 2021, therapy coding, telehealth/telepsychiatry and more.

  1. 2021 E/M for the office/outpatient 2021 for psychiatry and substance use disorders - will include the Medicare OPT program as well
    (2 hours)
  2. Review of therapy coding for the therapist, including the diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy and group therapy
    (60 min.)
  3. E&M and therapy in the facility based setting, including inpatient and nursing homes (60 min.)
  4. Telehealth/telemedicine for psychiatry (60 min.)
